An enduring commitment
to enhancing qualify of life
The Auxiliary began the same year Beatitudes Campus became a community, in 1965. This dedicated group of men and women works in tandem with the Beatitudes Campus Volunteer Program and its members, sharing a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for all residents. Volunteers become members of the Auxiliary through a nominal annual membership fee. These energetic and gifted people – residents, family and community members – give freely of their time and talents. They are an integral part of Beatitudes Campus’ past, present and future!
The Auxiliary enhances the lives of residents in many ways through planned social activities and special events, staffing Auxiliary-operated shops, and through fundraisers that provide supplemental dollars to our community. Ways to get involved include:
- Backstreet Boutique, our campus thrift shop
- Auxiliary Gift Shop, our campus gift shop
- Treasure Sales
- Plaza View Assisted Living information desk
- Assisting with social, holiday or fund-raising events
- Welcoming new residents
- Visits with current residents
The Backstreet Boutique also accepts donations of gently-used clothing and household items. The Boutique is open Thursdays, 10 AM to 4 PM. For information call 602-335-8463.
