The Beatitudes Campus Foundation began in 1990 and it serves as the philanthropic partner to the Beatitudes Campus. Gifts to the Foundation ensure the continuation of our Mission and directly impact the overall health and wellness of our residents and our community. Our benefactors believe in the value of giving and want to leave a legacy for future generations of older adults.

The Foundation is fortunate to receive financial support from generous individual donors, corporations, foundations, and charitable trusts that have been inspired by our Mission and want to help meet the spiritual, physical, social, emotional, and financial needs of who we serve.

Charitable Giving Funds

The Beatitudes Campus Foundation has established several charitable giving funds:

Resident Assistance Fund exists to provide financial assistance to residents who might otherwise have to face the prospect of leaving the home they have grown to love because they have outlived their resources. Contributions made to the Resident Assistance Fund are used to assist individual residents with financial needs and provide additional support to our community to help cover the gap in reimbursements for ALTCS, Arizona's version of Medicaid. Your gift to this fund will touch many lives.

The Stetson Family Fund was created in honor of Dorothy Stetson and her family and supports new and existing programming and services. Your contribution to the Stetson Fund will allow for work on education and innovative programming and will help continue the vision of the Beatitudes Campus.

Restricted Gifts are contributions earmarked for specific programs and projects by the individuals, corporations, or foundations. We ask that you discuss any restricted gifts with the Foundation Office prior to making a contribution, so we may ensure that your request may be carried out to meet your goals.

Ways to Give

There are many ways to give to the Foundation:

Gifts of Cash can provide immediate help for programs, services, and equipment. Gifts can be made with cash, personal check, or credit card.

Gifts in Memory or in Tribute provide a way to honor the memory of a loved one or to acknowledge someone special on an occasion, like a birthday or anniversary.

Gifts-In-Kind include products or services such as equipment, craft supplies, books, or food for an event and are always welcomed.

Gifts of Securities or Other Assets include appreciated stock, securities, or real estate and can be sold or invested for the long-term benefit of the Foundation.

Gifts of Thoughtful Planning or Planned Giving is a way for you to make significant gifts to the Foundation that would otherwise seem impossible to do. This can be managed through your will or another type of vehicle like gift annuities, charitable trusts, or life insurance plans. These gifts may offer a number of advantages, including securing a guaranteed income for life for you or your loved one and can earn significant tax advantages.

To make a contribution or for more information, contact the Foundation Office at 602-995-6120.

The Beatitudes Campus Auxiliary

The Auxiliary began the same year the Beatitudes Campus became a community, in 1965. It works in tandem with the Campus Volunteer Program. The Auxiliary is a dedicated group of men and women committed to enhancing the quality of life for all residents. Volunteers become members of the Auxiliary through a nominal annual membership fee. Auxilians are a group of energetic and gifted residents, family and community members, who give of their time, talent, and treasure. They are an integral part of the Campus’ past, present, and future!

The Auxiliary enhances the lives of residents in many ways through planned social activities and special events, staffing Auxiliary-operated shops, and through fund-raisers that provide supplemental dollars to our community. There are many ways to get involved including: Auxiliary Members volunteering in the Library

  • The Backstreet Boutique, our on-site thrift shop
  • The Gift Pantry, our on-site gift shop
  • Heirloom and Treasure Sales
  • Plaza View Information Desk
  • Assisting with a social, holiday, or fund-raising events
  • Visits with current residents
  • Welcoming new residents

The Backstreet Boutique also accepts donations of gently-used clothing and household items. The Boutique is open weekly on Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. For more info call 602-335-8463.
