Beatitudes Campus Launches Home Healthcare Program
Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust Grant Expands Beatitudes Campus’ Continuum of Care

PHOENIX – Beatitudes Campus, a not-for-profit retirement community in north central Phoenix, recently launched a new program, Beatitudes Home Health. This is an expansion of Beatitudes Campus’ continuum of care that currently includes independent living, assisted living, memory support and non-medical companion care. Beatitudes Home Health will serve seniors who live at Beatitudes Campus as well as older adults living in the greater Phoenix area.

Funding for the new program was provided through a generous gift of $377,000 from Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust. Grant dollars, provided over 24 months, will allow Beatitudes Campus to provide timely access to home healthcare, reduce hospitalization and will help seniors stay in their home with quality healthcare available when they need it, where they need it.

Beatitudes Home Health will provide Medicare certified, licensed home healthcare to include skilled nursing, nursing aide, social work, occupational, speech and physical therapy. The new program will work in tandem with the campus’ non-medical companion care, Beatitudes at Home.

“With almost 50 years’ experience serving older people Beatitudes Campus is uniquely positioned to move into the area of home healthcare” stated Beatitudes Campus former President & CEO, Peggy Mullan. “Beatitudes Home Health expands our continuum beyond our 22-acre campus and will have a positive impact on hundreds of older adults and their families. The program will also help meet the continuously changing needs of an aging population. We are grateful for the Piper Trust’s investment in today’s seniors and the generations to come.”
